Why it matters
The fee and who pays costs decide what you take home. New Jersey caps injury fees by court rule, but a firm can charge less, and its fee agreement decides how costs are handled.
Websites rarely say whether a case could go to, or be worked with, another firm. Ask before you sign, and ask who your lawyer will be.

All 18 injury firms with a Hackensack office listed on their own website, as of November 1, 2026. Listed A to Z; this is not a ranking. Firm-reported: each yes is what the firm's own website says.
How we checked
- Our collector read each firm's own website, including its Spanish pages, and quoted the words behind every yes. Spencer approved every change before it went live. Latest check: November 1, 2026.
- A yes needs the item on the firm's own site. Directory profiles and ads don't count.
- A fee counts only if the site states a percentage. "Free consultation" or "no fee unless we win" isn't a published fee.
- This is not a ranking, and none of it changes a score.
- We recheck every firm each month. A changed answer is logged on the corrections page.
